USES :

Offdryl syrup  is used in the treatment of cough.

HOW TO USE :

Take this drug in the dose and duration as exhorted by your specialist. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Offdryl syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

HOW IT WORKS :

Offdryl Syrup is a blend of 3 drugs: Diphenhydramine, Ammonium Chloride and Menthol.

Diphenhydramine is an antiallergic which diminishes cough related with allergies by obstructing a chemical messenger, histamine.

Ammonium Chloride is an expectorant which works by diminishing the stickiness of bodily fluid (mucus) and helps in its removal from the airways.

Menthol creates a cooling sensation and calms throat irritation.

SIDE EFFECTS :

• Stomach pain / epigastric pain
• Allergic reaction
• Sleepiness
• Dizziness
• Coordination impaired
